  • Make sure you have added the data field into a data screen. Unless you do this, it won’t record.

It is in the data screen, and has been so since some weeks. Before the version update yesterday it worked good. But not after.

Did you also update the data field(s) to a new version? Update was released at the same time as new firmware came out.

You could also try removing / adding back the data field.
  • For me, with update to 1.10 of the data field it was removed from the data screens and I had to manually add it back.

I didn't know I had to update it manually.
Have uninstalled and installed it again. Let's see if it works better next run.

Wait for so long for the APAC version to be updated to 7.10 this morning but the app is not compatible with it. Following this pattern, APAC version will never get running power......
  • Really?!
Why running power is removed in APAC 7.10?
  • Running Power requires Connect IQ 4.2, which became available with 935 firmware version 7.00. As your watch was purchased in China, I assume it is an APAC version - APAC software updates are typically 6-8 weeks after RoW watches. 7.00 I think was released around 5 Dec 2017, so hopefully it will become available for APAC watches very soon.

As you are still running CIQ 4.1.x, that is why it is coming up incompatible.

My 935 was purchased in Singapore and runs software version 7.1 released today which comes with CIQ 2.4.1.

Exactly! It's hard to comprehend why it takes so long.
  • If any information about why APAC 7.10 with CIQ 2.4.1 is incompatible with Running Power data field?
    It's so strange!

Not sure if this has been answered:
    1. Is there a way to view and/or capture max watts in addition to avg.?
    2. I uploaded my first run with Running Combo to Strava this morning but see no power data for the run. Is Strava one of the 3rd party sites supported with the most recent update?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kevin
