Garmin 935 won?t connect/charge

Hi everyone,

ive started to get an issue where my watch won?t connect or charge. I can plug it in but the watch doesnt recognise if it is connected to a power source or computer.

Has as anyone else had this issue? I don?t have access to another cable/watch to test the connection so not sure if the cable is faulty or it is the watch connections?

cant find any other issues like this?

Have contacted Garmin but awaiting a reply ATM.

This also worked for me. Cleaned the charger pot and the watch port and now it's charging as expected.

It's gonna sound like a no-brainer, but deep clean the charge port. Dish soap, warm water and a brush. Dry it and try again.

Happened to me, cleaning it fixed the problem.

One of the pins on my cable got pushed in and it stopped charging the Forerunner. With a new cable it worked fine.

That worked, thank you! I used an alcohol pad and the eye end of a needle to push.

Cleaned the charger pot and watch port and worked like a charm.
