is there a way to turn off bluetooth phone disconnect notification

is there a way to turn off bluetooth phone disconnect notification? I do not want my watch to buzz every time i walk away from my phone and it loses connection. There is an option for this on the Vivosmart and Foreunner 35 but i cant seem to figure this out on the forerunner 935.

Yes. Menu -> Phone -> Alerts, should be set to "Off" (not really self-explaining, gets you an impression all alerts would be off, but only toggles phone out of range notifications).

Not to dissuade you or anyone else but if traveling with watch & phone a nice benefit of the BT connect/disconnect alert is a nice warning that your phone isn't around. This happened to me recently when traveling. I was dropping of the rental car and in a rush...left the phone on the dash. Got away from the car and my watch vibrated "disconnected" which made me think "why" and then I realized I left the phone in the car. Without that I'm sure I would have gone a lot further without the phone and it could've become a real pain to get it back. Good reminder that your phone isn't around when outdoors imo.
