What is a "sensor hub update"

I just got a software update notice and when told it to do the update, it displayed "sensor hub updating" (or something very close to that). Anybody know what this is doing?

This is also a bit weird. I am sure I saw 5.10 the other day for my current FW version but wanted to just make sure I was still on that as I was typing this message. My watch is now saying it is on version 4.10 after doing this update. Am I just losing it or did my FW just revert backwards?

It's the firmware that controls the OHR module.

Further, when I go to Garmin express, it says I'm on 4.10 and that there are no new updates.

I updated Sensor Hub too and I think it is related to ble/ant/sns as now shows version 3.20 when before updating was 2.70. So it is strange that your watch shows old firm version because Sensor Hub has no relation.
