Is this not a complicated solution? Is it not possible to make a new switch with a feature that the heart rate sensor always stays on?
For the current generation of watches with the exception of the 645/645m, the power connector is on the back, so you have to take off the watch to "charge on the go", so having OHRM on at that time doesn't really make sense.
I know.
I made some posts about this subjects, some time ago. Unfortunately, I can t find them anymore. Where they lost during the migration to the new forum?
The charging plug is at the back of the watch. Is it possible that GARMIN developes L-shaped cables, as some users did here in the forum to solve the problem?
Can the charging plug not put at the side of the watch so that it can be used during charging?
And again, can the switch of the OHRM not be modified, so that there is a switch position “OHRM
always on?
By doing this, all options for “charging during use” would be there for all kind of users.
