Best Way to Track Pace Targets

I have a race coming up where my pace range will be very high, down to 25 min/mile in some sections and up to 7 min / mile in some sections and I am wondering the bast way to track my pace against my target paces for the various sections of the course. Any good ideas on this?
  • Yes, but what about creating multiple courses (one for each segment), where each course would have its own average speed. Then combining those courses into a single course? (Or alternatively, splitting a single course into multiple courses, then following the same process)

    If each segment has its own target pace, wouldn't that work?

    It seems like a lot of work though.
