Third party quick-connect bands

Well, it was a matter of time but here they are...

I ordered 2 to give them a try (blue and yellow). After ordering the official black and leather one (which still isn't delivered) I couldn't make myself spend another 100 euros for another 2.

10 euros is more like it (***, if the official ones were around 30 it would already be less of an issue). Anyway, just in case anyone wants to give it a shot ;)

Already curious to get your feedback on quality and comfort compared to the original ones.
Seeing this I may only order the original leather strap and hold back on ordering original silicon straps.

That's not a problem as I'll be waiting for my leather band anyways for 2-3 weeks probably ;)

Until then I have to stick to original strap which initially I didn't like at all but now I got used to it somehow (from the looks - it is very comfortable though).

@Flipstone: Are the pins/screwdrivers provided with the original leather band or did you need to buy them separately (or will I be using the pins of the original band?)?

I was waiting for the Garmin original versions to come in to stock at Wiggle, but since these are so cheap, and with free delivery, I just ordered 3 in different colours to try them out - can't go far wrong for that price!

I've got an original and just ordered a third party one to compare it against. It'll be interested to see if you can tell the difference!

That buckle seems huge and reminds me of the one on the F5 that dug badly into my wrist. For the time being I'm using some very flexible trimmed F3 straps that you can get for ~ 2€ ;-)

A bit cheaper on AliExpress for what appears to be the same thing:

I just ordered a couple for my Forerunner 935, since they're 22mm size bands. We'll see, supposed to come E-Packet, and that's usually fairly quick.

Nice, only disadvantage are the delivery times (well, unless they copied those from the official leather version as well of course.. in that case it's a feature)
