Data screen switching mid-run

Delved through the menu's but can't suss this one out myself.

I've get several data screen's setup for running, and at random intervals I've found it switching to one of the data screens (the second one from top if it makes any difference) without any input from me. Often accompanied by the colours inverting. It's not changing at set distances (i.e. it's not the standard 1km lap summary) but I don't know if it's a time thing.

Any idea why it's changing and how I can stop it doing so?

It's going in to "hill climb mode"? - i think it's called something like that - it can be turned off in the settings

Think this is the answer - Auto Climb mode. Which makes sense as I was doing hill reps.
I've switched it off and will see if that does it, but I'm 99% certain it will - thanks.

Auto Climb seems off by default at least in the Run app for me.

My screen auto changes when I come across a Strava segment and it goes to the segment screen.

Same - but I was in trail running mode.

For me it just pops up as a notification that can be dismissed iirc. Will double check next time a run takes me along a segment, but I'm pretty sure Auto Climb was the issue in this case.

For Strava segments I do get a popup as soon as the segment begins giving me my time to beat but then it goes right to the segment screen where I can see my segment time and how far ahead or behind I am to my best time for that segment. It will stay on that screen until I switch it to another screen. Maybe it's because I have a couple of segments starred in Strava? And the segment screen is black which I'm trying to figure out if I can change.

If you press start then scroll to Training, select and then go to Strava Live Segments you can see the segments you have. You can delete them from here also.

Under run settings you can turn segment alerts on and off also.

By the way the black screen means you are behind the pace on the segment, it's white if you are ahead. For each segment you can select if you're racing against the PR or your best.

Thanks!! I guess if I don't like the black segment screen I need to run faster! :D I'm always behind so I guess that makes sense then...haha! I did set personal segment goals in Strava so I guess that time is against my set goal time.
