Reasons why I love my screen protector, see photo, in particular top of the watch face. I wear my 935 24/7, have done so since I received it a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday I accidentally banged my wrist on our granite countertop edge, the 935 sustained zero damage. Had I not had this screen protector on, no doubt the screen could have been scratched up/cracked, and for $7.99 I have a new Rerii screen protector made for the 735 on the way from Amazon. I have found that this size glass screen protector fits very well. The light reflecting on the watch screen are the undercabinet lights reflecting so please ignore.
Playing devils advocate, doesn't that just prove the screen protector isn't as strong as the screen? Admittedly my F3 was Sapphire rather than glass, but I bashed that against all sorts of metal, stone and other surfaces and it has no marks at all after 2 years on the screen or the bezel.
Lusty, devil's advocate or not, I'm more than happy to keep a screen protector on that will take the fallout from an accidental hit, just like the glass Otterbox protector i have on my iphone has taken several times. Replacing a $7.99 piece is easy, and while Garmin would more than likely graciously assist as best as they can should the actual screen crack, it would still most likely be more than $7.99. I don't want to find this out the hard way.
