Issue pairing Forerunner 935 with Samsung S7 Edge

I just got my Garmin 935 this weekend and I'm trying to pair it with my phone, a Samsung S7 Edge. I put the watch into pairing mode and it gives me the whole "Download Garmin Connect Mobile App" screen while it waits. When I try to add a device in the Garmin Mobile app, it asks me to select the model and then goes into pairing mode, but the progress indicator never moves from where it starts... I put the phone right next to the watch to see if that would help. Anyone have any experience like this or have any thoughts about something I might be missing? Thanks.
  • I have mine paired with an S7 Edge (AT&T in the US). I would suggest just making sure you have BT turned on, on your phone, and then putting the watch in pairing mode and then putting the watch in pairing mode. You should then get a request from the phone to input the pairing number and a number should be displayed on the watch that you use. If this does not work, try rebooting both the watch and phone.

    Yeah, I finally rebooted my phone and was able to connect it to the watch. Thanks for the reply.
