FR 935 for everyday wearing?

Hello there,
since I'm looking for a substitution of my (defective) fenix 3HR, I was originally going for the Fenix 5/5s, but then I noticed the coming release of the FR 935 which seems to have gained all characteristics of the fenix series (particularly wrist HR and barometer), but in a cool thinner and lighter (plastic) body.
Since I usually have the watch on 24h, often using smartwatch, step counting/HR during the day and sleep tracking, it is a nice plus to me for the watch to be disguisable as an everyday "fashionable" watch, and being this model less bulky than fenix series is an interesting feature.

However, In all reviews I see around, I don't see any mention of the FR 935 to be considerable as an everyday watch: is it so clear by looking at it that it is a sportwatch, more than it is for the fenix 5/5s? I don't get the difference, since referring to the "all black" version, seems quite neutral and somehow elegant.

Any detail on this from the owners? Nobody around using it off the trails?

I use it as an everyday watch then again I always have done with any Garmin watch have owned. In fact got the 735 on as well at the moment. I figure since I train nearly every day then I want it with me when I do and best place to remember to bring it along is on my wrist.

Whether anybody in general chooses to wear anything is largely a personal vanity question for yourself. Some people seem to spend ages agonizing over such things.

Just got the 935 today. i went in store motivated to get the Fenix 5s ( i have a very skinny wrist) but ended up getting the 935 instead...i acutally think the black plastic case/ black band looks less aggressive, more dressy, more subdued than the Fenix 5 or 5x, and certainly looked best on my wrist. I previously had the 735XT and the 935 is nicer, classier looking...

I was using FR630 as an everyday watch with no problem. I never was ashamed of it and to be honest, I didn't care what other thought - however most seemed to like it. The FR935 looks better, in my opinion, so it would be fine for me aswell. But as Tim said, it's really up to you, if you find it suitable for your fashion needs.

I'm currently testing F5 (GPS mainly) and if it will be disappointment again, I surely get FR935 instead and I will wear it everyday.

Thank you, I'm glad to hear what i already thought.
Of course what to wear it's just a matter of personal taste, however for my work I have to wear often shirts and jackets and join formal events: I'd like having such an all-in-one device with me without having to feel uncomfortable with what could be clearly identified just as a sport tool. Indeed, i think it is more uncommon to wear a rather big watch (fenix 5) than a thinner one (935) even if made with less "premium" surface materials, being less noticeable in first place.

I think the fenix 5 looks better as an everyday watch compared to the 935 (and the other Forerunners). That being said, if you can wear a 235 when you're "interviewing" for a spot on the Supreme Court, I think you can pretty much wear a 235/630/935 anywhere.

I am a small woman with very small wrists and I wear my new solid black 935 every day as a watch/step tracker/HRM. I work in an office but dress business casual so it fits just fine with my clothing choices. It is very light and doesn't look enormous on me. MUCH better than my 920xt in every way, which I also wore every day.

I actually think the 935 looks much better than I expected on my wrist. It looks like a smart watch mostly, but I think with a nicer band it would look classy.

I wear mine 24x7, and am in shirt/tie at work everyday. Looks fine!

Mines on all the time as well (although I have a black band on it, rather than the yellow!)
