Buying on Garmin Website

When can I buy the 935 on the garmin website? I don't understand why we've been able to buy from clever training, wiggle, etc. but I can't buy from garmin website yet.....

I want the watch but I only want to buy it from garmin.com (I have a reason).
  • Don't know (doesn't it say on the product page?) but been common in the past that they release limited stock to resellers before selling themselves.
  • no the product pay doesn't say. It just says to enter your e-mail and they will alert you when its available.

    Now.

I think understanding isn't really required, especially since knowing why won't give you any ability to either challenge or circumvent Garmin's decisions; and then, the reason may not agree with your own values or priorities, so it mightn't even help you better accept the limitations personally.
  • AlamoGREEK

Maybe for you..... but not in the USA.
  • Am I supposed to have divined that you're in the USA, when you don't state it either in your earlier post or in your forum user profile?

I guess you'll just have to wait and see, then. Fellow forum members can only help you with information that we can see. At least I bothered to go look into it for you (since I have no reason for wanting to buy direct from Garmin's web site).
  • at Garmin.de in Germany you still can´t buy the 935

very disappointed, I want to replace my F3, need a new toy
  • jackson2sm seems to really want to buy from Garmin and likely has a valid reason for him.

But in the US, I just can't imagine what benefit comes from buying directly rather than from someone like REI or Clever Training. When buying from one of those, you have a retailer to go to bat for you, plus you get a discount. In the case of REI, if you have any problems, you exchange it for a brand new one. From Garmin, you send it in and most likely get a refurbished one back.

People have pro deals or discount codes for Garmin.com.
  • I ordered mine on April 3rd and the Garmin.com order status says April 21st ship date. I'm in Oregon if that matters.
