Strava Premium 60-day trial

Are you asking based on receiving a 935 or in more general terms? If former then presume you cannot find mention of this?

I got an invite the first time I logged into Strava after adding the 935 into Garmin Connect. I am not sure if this was a coincidence or some auto-triggered thing

I just did this. You have to add Segments to your GC Dashboard then click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the segments box and select "Go Premium with Strava". It will bring you to the free trial page on Strava. You have to put your credit card info in but you aren't charged anything unless you don't cancel after the 60 days.

All that seems to happen when I click into "Segments" is that I can see that particular page. Not sure if I'm being a bit dense (probably!), but I can't seem to add Segments to My Dashboard - I must be missing something, but I don't know what (apart from a few brain cells maybe?!)?

Anyone know if this is still available? I have the segments widget which says "A free 60-day trial is included with your device.".If I click Upgrade to Premium it just takes me to Strava segments page with nothing about the free trial.

Just contact strava support then they ll activate the trial for you
