Comparison to 935 (official per Garmin site)

Given that I finally pulled the plug on the fenix 5 (silver/blue), it makes sense that Garmin immediately releases the 935.

At first glance, I'm struck by the weight reduction...which seems impressive.

Looks like it does everything (at first glance) the Fenix 5 does, in a less impressive case? If so, smart move to not re-invent a watch, but they could have possibly just added a lower level of Fenix.

Weight is mainly the plastic vs metal... While the metal/more decent look is one of the reasons for going for the F5 for me.

But the 935 has standard WIFI and quickrelease, other then that it's basically the F5 in plastic. (Not a bad thing necessarily btw, but I like the less specific sports watch look from the F5)

i'm getting my F5 any day now, i'd be keen to go for the 935 but seem to me that £30 cheaper for a plastic version of the F5 isnt much of a saving???

- and if (?) polymer case could make the GPS more accurate than metal on F5 ... this would be interesting.

Something to consider before buying an F5.

Yes, based on my FR235 vs F5 GPS accuracy comparisons that show definite inconsistencies in the F5 it would be great to see the FR935 back to the FR235's level thanks to its plastic casing!

Haven't seen specific numbers yet but it appears to be quite a bit thinner, the F5 is still hard to fit under a shirt...

It's 15.5mm vs. 13.9mm which is also very welcome.

it would surprise me that the FR935 is already available for purchase, given that we're not able yet to add connect iq apps for the device. We had a few months before the fenix 5 was available to be purchased.

So my guess is that you won't be able to purchase a FR935 before June...
