REM Sleep vs Awake

My Fenix 7 codes REM Sleep as Awake. I must move a little in REM sleep. The pattern is obvious in my sleep charts and I am not awake at these times. My REM sleep is comically low.

I've read through the forums and this is a common enough problem. And it ruins other features of the watch (the one I care about, training readiness and training programs that rely on training readiness).

The obvious question is why hasn't Garmin offered a solution to this problem yet? For those of us that use the full features of the watches (i.e., training), we'd be happy to recode that awake time as REM ourselves. It doesn't seem like a terribly difficult fix.

I'm going to stop sleep tracking altogether. Maybe not wear at night. The watch will actually give me better results that way. For a $1500 'sports watch', that's a joke
