735xt not waterproof anymore

4 years ago my girlfriend gave me a 735xt as a gift for my birthday.

Today, after getting Into 1 meter deep water (no swimming, laps, buttons pressed, etc) it died. 30 min later I noticed white and green lines on the screen and 5 min later all black.

Now, being 4 years old, I assume the warranty is gone. Is there anything I can do?

Water ingress is a common issue with the 735XT and it is not something that can be repaired, because the most important and expensive part of the watch is probably ruined.

There's not much you can do. Contact garmin support. Perhaps they'll offer you a discounted replacement.

Exactly the same problem here. After one year of using it.

If it's still covered by warranty, then you will get a replacement.
