Timer doesn't start

Hello,

after recharging my device, I went for a bike ride yesterday and a run today, and both times the timer (after choosing the respective activity) simply doesn't start runnung when I press start: It just ignores my signal and stays at 0:00 (I usually have a decent GPS signal), so I couldn't record my activities.

Probably just a simple mistake I made, but I couldn't find anything when I googled it, and I haven't changed any of the settings (knowingly at least), so I'm confused.

Have you tried turning it off and rebooting? Otherwise a soft or hard reset (you'll lose settings and data). If these don't work it could be a faulty button, and you may want to contact Garmin directly.

Such an obvious idea, rebooting - but somehow it took you to remind me! It's worked, indeed - thank you!
