Compatible Footpod with the Garmin 735XT

What footpod is compatible with the Garmin 735XT. I bought a footpod and it isn't compatible. I wasted my money and need to know what you are using. Thank you.

Any ANT+ footpod should do. The footpod you got is probably BLE, and the 735XT does not support BLE sensors.

Personally I've been using the following:

1. Garmin SDM4

2. Decathlon Geonaute

3. Adidas miCoach Speedcell (but watch out: these come in 2 variants, ANT+ and BLE. The ANT+ is compatible, the BLE is not).

Can you use this to track indoor cycling on a trainer?

Can you use the foot pad for tracking indoor cycling on a trainer with the 735xt?

No. It won't work for indoor cycling. For indoor cycling you need a cycling speed sensor, although it might be tricky to attach it to some indoor bikes.
