I ride to and from work, I want to pause my morning ride when i arrive at work and continue it in the afternoon

Morning,

Rather than flooding my feed with morning and afternoon rides i want to be able to pause my morning ride and continue it in the afternoon, when i pause the ride at the moment I'm unsure if i can exit back to the home screen without loosing my ride,

Is it possible to pause the ride and exit back to the home screen then continue it later?

If you pause your ride, after a minute or so the watch returns to the normal watch screen automatically to save power.

When you want to continue this ride later on the day,, select bike activity and you…

Not on the FR735XT. Some garmin devices have a "resume later" option, but not the FR735XT for some reason.

If you pause your ride, after a minute or so the watch returns to the normal watch screen automatically to save power.

When you want to continue this ride later on the day,, select bike activity and you can resume the ride you paused earlier.

Don't know how to force going to the normal watch screen after pausing..... but just a bit of patience does the trick :)
