The GPS and autopause both suddenly stopped working - any ideas please?

Hi,

the GPS function has stopped working, although the total distance (and speed) is given for running (but not for cycling). Also, the autopause function has stopped working. I have tried turning the functions off (as well as the watch) but no effect. No software updates are pending, and everything else is working fine.

Does anyone know what I can try to fix it?

try long press light button until the screen goes dark

you only lose time and GPS almanac

afterwards do a 20 minutes GPS soak, place it in activity mode on a windowsill or go for a walk outside

Many thanks for the suggestion. I have tried that, but still not working. It was a nice walk though.....

is GPS turned on in your activity setting ?

no red - green circle for GPS reception when starting any other outside activity ?

check and report all firmware versions in the about menu on your watch

specifically GPS version

when versions do not verify, do a three button reset to default

Hi, what is three button reset . I have problem with gps . my watch hangs repeatedly . it cannot catch Gps at all , inspite of repeated synching . it is running 3 days late with improper time .
