What does your watch show when in transition? Mine shows two data screens when a transition is triggered. One shows transition time, the other shows total time. And on switching from transition to the next leg, the watch shows summary for transition time for a brief moment.
After entering transition my watch displays the summary for the previous leg for a couple of seconds, but then starts showing time of previous leg on top (just like yours), but below there's a large timer showing current transition time.
Make sure that you're running the latest firmware. Then try factory reset. If this doesn't help I'm out of ideas.
