Invalid FIT File

I have just completed the Aberfeldy 1/2 Ironman using the 735xt. Using the Triathlon activity type, it was recording all the data as I went along, but now as I try to upload the file it is showing, "invalid" in History and continues to error when I try and sync.

Any suggestion please, as I am gutted to lose all this data

ps, the map is on the watch showing my my swim, bike & run

    Hello Anton,

Here ya go. Manufactured another MultiSport with your 2 runs showing the metrics.

    Thanks a lot, Don!

    Edit:

emm... That didn't really work, I'm afraid. The fixed file shows neither metrics, nor anything except the two runs. The expected result would be lust like the first try, plus metrics for both runs. I hope I can use your kind help once more...

    Hello Anton,
I pulled the attached file off Connect that I previously sent you and loaded it into my Connect account and it showed the metrics for both runs and the cycling section for a total of 30kms. Be sure to delete all other files dated 5/7/2017 from your Connect account then import the last file I sent you "1719867377-fixed".fit :)
  • Hello Don,

you were right of course. Thanks for your patience and explanation! Now it all works perfectly.
  • Did a swimrun race yesterday and it seems like GC doesn?t like the file.
When open the file in the online Fit file tools, it looks part of the last running session is missing. (figuring this out by looking that the map from the "section remover")

Can you please see what is wrong and perhaps fix it?

    hi Pdias97,

FFRT reported that 'The recorded ended suddenly and without the expected summary records. Probably data records at the end of the recording are missing'. The Event Log also shows a Start event but no Stop event.

This file contains what FFRT was able recover.

    cheers
    Mike
