Foot Pod pairing

I purchased the Garmin 010-11092-00 Foot Pod for Garmin Forerunner 735XT multi Sports Watch.

I do spin class to try and keep fit. So in order to monitor my work rate I bought 735xt with HR strap. Looking at accessories I found the foot pod and thought it would be ideal for spin class. My thinking being cadence/distance along with HR strap, bingo.

However, as far as I can see the watch, HR, & pod are all paired. But when I go to class and select - Indoor cycling - record, all I get is HR data.

Can anyone help or the foot pod gets it.....

Please someone walk me through this nightmare ????

Foot pod is for running only. It won't work for cycling. To get cadence and speed for indoor cycling you need speed and cadence senors.

Hi, I think the Pod was created just for the running.
