Connecting multiple devices to 735xt

I have just purchased a forerunner 735xt (having previously had a Samsung S3) and am waiting for it to arrive. I have also bought a bluetooth/ant+ heart rate monitor to access the advanced running dynamics and a bluetooth/ant+ cadence sensor to use with my static bike.

My question is can a connect both the HR monitor, and the cadence sensor to the watch at the same time, as well as having the watch connected to my phone?

There should be no problem using both the HR strap and cadence sensor at the same time. The connection to your phone is different and will stay connected as long as it’s in range.

You probably won’t get any advanced running dynamics from the strap unless it’s a Garmin HRM-Run or Tri and since you say that what you’ve got is both BT and Ant+ that’s not the case. There is now an Ant+ standard for running dynamics that nobody’s really supporting yet but if your strap manufacturer decides to support the standard in the future it should work then with a firmware update.
