Showing MPH

I'm new to the Garmin watches...my girlfriend has an older Garmin watch, and it shows the MPH live as your running. I bought the 735 because it looked like it had more than what I needed, but I just assumed that all Garmin watches did this...I couldn't ask anyone local as no one really knows anything about these watches in Best Buy and such.

Is there a way to pull this up so I can see my speed as I'm running?

There is. Take a look in the manual and you'll see how to set up one of the data fields as Current Pace.

But that would show him pace in minutes per mile, and from what I understood, he wants speed in miles per hour. In this case the correct way to go is to go into "Settings / System / Format / Pace/Speed Preference" and there select "Show speed" for "Running".

I just assumed he meant pace (embarrassed ????)
