I bought a FR735XT today because my FR235 is sent to the service because of the display that turned yellow. nd as I don't know if I can use it after returning due to skin irritations and rather slow performance without having changed anything... Now I installed all the stuff I had on my FR235 (wasn't very much...). Got my records back, but not my activities. With them on the watch the sync doesn't continue. I did a reset, problem return after copying the files. So I deleted them. But a really annoying thing I discovered: All watchfaces I've tried (Actiface, GearMin, 645 Watchface) don't show the BT icon! The built-in watchface works fine. Is there any solution for that? I would like another watchface because of steps, battery percentage etc. But I would like to see if my phone is connected although I don't use notifications (I haven't used it on my FR235 too). The latest software is installed.
Does the GCM app on your phone show it's connected to the watch? If so, you should see the icon on CIQ watch faces that have that ability. This will only be updated every minute in most cases, so make sure you wait.
Yes, the app shows the watch connected. The whole time during installing watchface and data fields the icon didn't appear. Meanwhile I played a bit with the settings. If I switch on smart notifications the BT icon is visible. Is that a CIQ thing? As far as I remember the FR235 has CIQ 1.X, the FR735 CIQ 2.X. I selected that I don't want to receive notifications, neither during the nor during an activity. Because my FR235 received Twitter although it wasn't selected... BT icon is still there. Strange but it works.
