Hi,
I recently got a Forerunner 735xt and I am wondering, how does the built in wrist heart rate work, because it also detects a solid heart rate while there is no
wrist pressed against the led's. And also when I put the Forerunner 735xt on my wrist it Always shows a heart rate of 71 or 72 and then starts to rise or fall, sometimes I am sitting behind my laptop, then I put the 735xt on my wrist, switch on the heart rate sensor, it first shows 71 or 72 and then rises up to 80, 90 and sometimes even 100 and then starts to drop. I use the built in sensor so no external strap. Also I was cycling with the 735xt, it showed a heart rate of around 125, I started cycling alot faster, the reading barely changed, I slowed down after 30-50 seconds, and all of a sudden my heart rate rose up to about 145 while I was already slowing down. How does dis wrist based heart monitor thing work?
