Garmin Connect (on desktop) says new (bought around a month ago) 735XT is running software 7.10.0.0
My desktop is a creaking old Mac and Garmin Express won't run on it - I can't nail down whether Garmin Connect (iOS) is supposed to quietly download and update the watch by itself (it's always connected) or if I absolutely have to do it using Garmin Express. Presently I can't download anything from the Connect IQ store as everything tells me I need a software upgrade to the watch.
I have a mate with a Garmin who will no doubt have Garmin Express on his laptop - is there any issue for either of us if we were to connect my watch to his laptop and do the upgrade that way?
