Tempe Question

my wife has a 735 and I had a tempe aroubd that I connected the other day to her watch. When she does an activity why would I not see the graph in GC?

I added the data field but am I missing something or does it needs to connect prior to running? Or do I need tonadd the widget? I figured it would connect sometime during her 5 miler today but no data.

Thanks in advance as the tempe on my 935 works great and used to work when i had my 735 before I upgraded.

    Can you see the temperature on the data field while doing the activity? Sometimes the tempe needs more time to connect, and the watch stops searching for new sensors after a few minutes, so if the tempe does not connect at the beginning, then it will not connect at all.

    Another possible reason is the placement of the sensor. ANT+ waves do not travel well over obstacles. I had serious connection issues when I placed my tempe on the back of my backpack. The waves did not travel well through the backpack and my body and I experienced constant dropouts, and sometimes the tempe would not connect at all. I changed the placement of the sensor to the side of the backpack, where it was much closer to the watch on my wrist, and problem solved.

    Thanks. More than likely not connecting prior to her starting the run which I doubt she realizes. The sensor is one shoe while the other shoe has a footpod. We run on the treadmill a lot.

    Shoe placement should be ok. My tempe usually connects within 60 seconds, even after I start the activity. Try experimenting a little. Enter the activity profile, but do not start the activity. Wait for the "tempe connected" message. If it does not appear within 60 seconds, then there's clearly something wrong. Maybe the tempe battery is dying? How long have you been using it?
