Inaccurate distance - understated by up to 10-15% though map trace is correct...

Is anybody else having recent issues with incorrect distance on workouts? My regular bike commute has been measured on previous devices (and previously with my 735XT) as 15.0 miles give or take a tenth of a mile either way but this has over the last couple of weeks been coming up as 12.0 to 14 miles even though the map trace is correct. I did a full reset and updated the software last weekend but still coming up short this morning, though improved, at 14.5 miles...

Here's the accurate distance, which I've been measuring with current 735XT, (same distance had also come up for last 6 years with previous 310XT, and also on Strava with iPhone) - circa 15 miles:
19-Jun-17 in each direction:

16-Jun-17 in each direction:

Here are a couple of more recent rides:
https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/1865059619 - 14 miles
https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/1862385271 - only 11.9 miles!

Edit - having noted that the 8.30 update corrects issues with Ultratrac I should add that I usually have watch set to GPS so Ultratrac is not the issue. And changing to GPS + Glonass made no difference

Thanks
