Auto detect lactate threshold

Hallo. I have noticed that the 735 XT doesn't give me any information about lactate threshold for two months by now. Everything else works excellent why does it happen?
I have to say that the last two months I change my training and I do many workouts instead of long runs.
  • Same here. Seems like you have to do the guided test to obtain the lactate threshold.
  • You don?t have to do the guided test, but you do have to do a progressive run, with periods of time in different HR zones below and I believe above lactate threshold. If you are just training normally it is quite hard to get the right set of circumstances.

  • I've never tried the guided test but have received LTHR results from a long interval session (3x2mi @HMP) and an actual half marathon when I was using an F3, and a couple of times with my 735 when doing 12x1min @mile pace intervals. So I see no real rhyme or reason to when these watches will see info that triggers a spontaneous LTHR result.
