Time sync just stopped

This morning, I did a short run, and took the bus to work. I got off the bus and noticed the watch was completely frozen. I restarted. Annoying but whatever.

But when it came back on, the time was not synched correctly. It is now 2 hours and 3 minutes off. The time is set to "set automatically." I have deleted the device on my phone and repaired. Still nothing. I have tried turning off set automatically and then reset it. Nothing.

Any ideas?

Additional hint... I only get notifications on my watch when I actively cause a sync from the app. Then my wrist lights up for a bit. But it doesn't reset the time.
  • Getting a GPS fix will help with the clock setting. To fix the sync problem either closing and restarting the Connect Mobile app or turning the watch off and then back on should work.
  • GPS won't get a fix

    I just walked around for 5 minutes outside and my GPS won't get a fix. Sounds like something is seriously wrong with this watch...

    Thanks for your help. I walked to work. It took about 10 minutes to get a GPS fix and the time is set now. Hopefully when I run tomorrow morning, it won't take that long. If it does, I am returning it.

    I have had the same issues my watch is less than a week old. When its set to auto synch time it does not work. Takes way too long to get a GPS fix i have now taken to setting the time manually which is silly really. Ive rebooted and reset so many times im getting bored with it. It dropeed GPS on my run yesterday and told me it took 144min to run 1km even im not that slow !!!!! trying to contact Garmin  to see what i can do
