I recently had the label sticker that surrounds the OHR come off the watch. I was able to remove the sticky residue and there is just a shiny plastic looking surface left now. Everything seems to work fine but wondering if I should be worried or if anyone else has experienced something similar? Thanks.
Thats worrying. I thought you meant the sticker with the serial no etc on it.
Didn't even realise the sensor had a sticker over it, but presumably it is there for a reason.
I've seen the odd thread about OHR sensors getting cracks on them (I think it was the 235 to be fair)
Makes me wonder if it was actually the sticker that was getting scratched up.
The sticker on the back of my 735xt has started to peel off. It hasn't influenced the functionality so far but I am slightly worried that it might have an effect later on. The glue from the sticker has been smeared all over the place and it's really hard to clean. Anyone else has been suffering from these?ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1262576.jpg
Yes, as posted above I did. Its been 6 months now. All the opaque finish on the HR sensor has flaked off too. But no cracks as some have reported, and it still works as it should. So no worries (about the sticker per se).
My sticker is not falling off but the serial number has become so worn, that I can no longer read it. I do not have the original box, so where do I now find the serial number? I have tried searching my garmin connect app and my online account.
If you look at the device in GC on the web, it shows the serial number. You'll also see it in Garmin Express if you click on the device, and then "Tools & Content"ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1269274.png
Is this sticker present on all Wrist based HRMs from Garmin? I have a 935 and it's difficult to tell if there is one - I guess I'll find out if it comes off :(
