Heart Rate Wrist Monitor Stopped Working

My heart rate wrist monitor suddenly stopped working. Absolutely no registering of my heart rate.
Has anyone had this problem? Do I need to reset my watch? If so how do I do a reset?

I have only had the watch for about 8 months. Thanks for any help you can give.

Try just powering it off and on again.

Is this a 735xt or a 235? The 735xt hasn't been around for 8 mos.

About 6 months. Anyway 8 months or a 235 then still just try powering it off and on again to see if that helps.

Yup, powering it off fixed it for now. It didn't work at all for a 1/2 hour walk and I was ready to throw it in the trash. Seems to be fine now. 2 year old 735XT. I still use the HR chest strap for running. Seems to be more accurate and consistent.

doh, I forgot the most common fix to all things electronic, just reboot. thanks it worked.

Geez - why didn't i think to power cycle? Was about to toss it (been living without HRM for a month)
