Charging problems with the 735xt

Morning all,
Has anyone noticed unusual charging issues with the 735? Sometimes when plugged into a wall, nothing seems to happen at all. No charging, no change in the face screen to the 'charging' screen (even if it vibrates after being plugged in, to suggest it's charging.) Sometimes one or the other of those two things happens. Currently it's plugged into my laptop and is charging... although with no change in the screen face. Feels like it behaves as it wants... not ideal when i'm having breakfast thinking it's charging and when i've finished my eggs realised i'm still at 8%.
Anyone any ideas?
John
  • When you connect the watch to a computer, the watch enters into a special mode, that's why you see different screen than when you connect it to a dumb wall charger.

And it is actually incorrect that 2.4A is required. You can charge the watch from any USB port that provides at least 0.5A. The type of screen displayed during charging does not depend on the amount of electrical current provided by the charger, but rather on whether the watch is connected to a computer or not.

  • It happens to me also

Not charge connect to a wall charger but charged on a PC
