Very positive considering they appear to have been given one by Garmin for review! I'm sure I could manage to be just as complimentary if I was lucky enough to be in a similar position
Yes I've read the review, not from your link but via a Facebook posting from Garmin. It hardly struck me as an independant review as Garmin had supplied it as a freebie so I'm always a bit wary about such write-ups!
I currently have a VivoactiveHR for everyday use and running and rather fancy the 735 for it's more watch like appearance and slightly more features though I'm having trouble justifying the cost of the upgrade with my current unit being so new. Now if I could sell the VivoactiveHR for a reasonable amount........... ;-)
Don't lots of companies supply "free" products for established reviewers to review. But really it is actually more of a "loan". Makes sense because if your product is decent (and it would hard to argue against the 735 being at the very least worth people's attention!) then the reviews ought to be decent.
DC Rainmaker, for example, gets plenty of "free" stuff sent for review but always sends it back afterwards - as did this reviewer.
So it is not "free" in the sense that you get to keep it forever. In both these cases, if the reviewer wants one for themselves they have to go and buy one.
Don't think that just because DC Rainmaker gets sent products to review that every review is a glowing endorsement. He calls it as it is - if something is not so good, he will say so.
I am being slightly mischevious with my comments and I'm aware that DC Rainmaker isn't alway complimentry however some reviewers do not want to jepodise their chance of getting future products for review.
Some people are so established within the Social Media & blogging world that they have nothing to fear from telling it like it is. Not being familar with the reviewing history of UK Sports Chat I cannot gauge whether their reviews are valid or merely pleasant endorsements of products provided to them free of charge.
In the case of the 735 the product does seem pretty decent anyway!
