735XT Pool Swim Workout Bug

Hi,
I have discovered a bug in my 735XT. Whenever I am in Pool Swim mode and in a workout, when I press the grey button to pause, after I press again to resume the watch will stop tracking my laps. The timer will run but the watch will not track the distance/laps. The only way to get it to work again is to press lap button, then pause and resume again. But when doing that the watch will progress to the next step in the workout. My 735XT is having the latest software version, 4.40.

Don't think you should be pressing the Stop button doing a swim. In a normal swim pressing the lap button puts you into rest mode and pressing lap again returns you to normal swimming.

In a workout can see even less reason to press the stop button.

I get what you mean but sometimes like if I need to go to the washroom or something like that I would have to press stop button to pause the watch.

"Lap" button does not resolve the issue

Distance is not counted in both cases on my FR 735XT:

1) press pause and then resume, the distance is not recorded anymore
2) press lap and then continue, the distance is not recorded

I believe this is completely wrong behavior
The following combination = lap + pause + resume - does not work as well.
