735 keeps changing from kilometres back to miles

Hi all, I've had a 735 a few weeks and am loving it, except for the fact that it won't stay in metric measurements. Every time I change to kilometres it stays until the end of the activity, or if not in an activity then maybe an hour or so, and then reverts back to miles. Any ideas?

Check your settings on the device AND in the App.

it was happened to me, till I found that you need to change the metrics also in the Garmin Connect web application - then it was starting to keep the metrics correctly on each sync

I have the same issue in a slightly different setting. My 735 kept metric measurements, as it should, until I got the Garmin Index scale two days ago. Since then it's constantly changing to miles (and AM/PM). Any ideas what setting might be causing this? I think this is more an Index scale issue than a 735 issue so I initially posted in that part of the forum https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?362217-Scale-changing-user-settings

Put your watch to metric then your app (connect ) to metric then save , you can also login to your connect account make sure it's metric as well, save and then turn off phone, power backup and this did the trick for me.

I had similar to this yesterday. Watch and Garmin Connect were both set to km, but when I synced with Connect after yesterday’s run, the result came up in miles. Watch is still in km, but the settings within Connect had altered to miles. I’ve changed that setting back again, and will be monitoring this over the next week.
