Pausing Activity

Hello, What do you use when you're doing a run or any other activity and you have to go to the bathroom while using the Forerunner 735XT? On the Fenix 3HR there's an option to "resume later" or something like that, can't remember the exact option but it allows you to resume your activity later.

Thanks for any responses or suggestions.

Sorry I guess I wasn't clear. Pausing will attempt to resume automatically after a short time, I think less than 5 minutes where as with the resume later option you have more time to take care of your business. I understand the pause and stop button are the same. I'm older and have issues with frequent trips to the bathroom. So I guess what I see is what I get. Just wanted to know what others did if they ran longer than an hour and had to go to the bathroom that was a few minutes away from the course they are running. I'll just continue to stop and start it to get more time. The resume later was nice because it gave me enough time. Thanks for the reply CW.
  • When you press Stop then it will sit on the Save/Discard for the length of your timeout (Normal = 5 mins, Extended = 25 mins).
When this is up it will go back to the clock screen.
It seems however that all you need to do is press the Start button again and it will go back to the Save/Discard screen.

So you might want to goto Activity Settings, Power Save Timeout for the activity profiles you use and set it to Extended.

You will then get 25 mins just on the Save/Discard screen but can seemingly extend as I mentioned.

Okay Tim, that's what I was looking for. I did try it last night while lounging around the house and came upon the "Power Save Timeout". I'm going to do that, cool thanks very much. Guess I misunderstood and didn't know I could adjust the "Power Save Timeout" because when it popped up it was saying 30 seconds or something like that. I just did it! Thanks again.
