Wont turn on

1 Month old 735XT won't turn-on after going flat.

Despite being charged with mains power (via genuine garmin charger and supplied cable), still no life.

Backlight excessively weak beforehand (I know this has been discussed previously WRT design).

Any advice please?

Is the screen completely black or is GARMIN showing at all?

Have you tried with a computer?

Also try a hard reset where you hold down the power button for at least 15 seconds.

Tried hard reset. Unsuccessful. Tried to upload screen shot but ok large. Faint numbers in background when plugged in. No response with any buttons.

log a fault call with Garmin.

If you are also having a problem with your 620, it implies something is going wrong when you charge up your watches.

Have you tried charging them from an AC adapter instead of your computer?

Thanks Phil. 620 has no problem charging - touchscreen dead. Hopefully not related. Have sent 735 back for replacement.
