No stopwatch or countdown timer?

Quite surprised to see these two features missing, I see a Garmin Stopwatch App in the store, but nothing comes up in search for a countdown timer.

I umpire field hockey so need a countdown timer that I can pause.

Can anyone recommend a solution?

Or use the normal timer (it's a stopwatch!) and set an alert when you get to the time you want to get to.

Thanks Tim, what do you mean by "use the normal timer"? I didn't see a timer on any of the menus but am still getting used to the device.

Well let's say you want to go for a run outdoors, you would goto the Run profile, wait a little bit to get GPS is Ready then press the upper right button to start the run which also starts the timer going. You can press this button again to stop it and then either save the run (if done) or press it again to restart the timer.
