It doesnt work that way on my watch,_…‹snip›… My phone is LG G4, Android 6,
Hello, is there any way, how to pick up or reject an incoming call (and not just mute ringing phone?).
Well, to switch mobile OS platform (and whole ecosystem) because of one (or to be more precise several) bug(s) by GarminNot offering a particular feature for use with one or more specific mobile OS platforms cannot be rationally considered a bug. It's not as if an Answer Call button is presented on the watch to the user upon an incoming call to a connected Android phone, but then fails to cause the call to be answered.
I dont find a rational solution. If already to switch something, then the smartwatch. It's OK by me however you decide. You asked us if there is any way to do something functionally, and I'm simply glad at least one achievable way can be found and communicated to you, without undue regard for your personal values, views and priorities and consequently any constraints you impose on your IT landscape.
Ha ha ha, smartwatch that cannot answer a phone callCould you please point me to where Garmin claimed that the Forerunner 735XT is a ‘smart watch’?
Just an update, this app from Google Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.azya.garmin.watchdialer , together with app or widget from Garmin Connect IQ Store, can start and end phone call from the watchHave you tried it on your watch and phone, and confirmed that it works?

Yes, of course. Even the widget works. That's great.
The rest is a little bit useless discussion, so I will reply once more only just for fun.The first-order objectives of discussion are to share information, exchange ideas and reach decisions, as opposed to deliver practical outcomes (which would, at the very least, require additional action outside of the discussion).
See here: https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/into-sports/running/forerunner-735xt/prod541225.htmlThank you very much for that, because I had not noticed that before about the FR735XT, which is headlined as a ‘GPS Running Watch with Multisport Features and Wrist-based Heart Rate’.
Maybe athletes do not need to answer calls. Or it is only for athletes with apple products :-)I'm no athlete, but I do take the occasional call when I'm running (and I don't use an iPhone). My Android handset (OK, that's my second choice, after my beloved Windows Phone handset died) announces the name of the caller through my Bluetooth headset, and I can answer or reject incoming calls by tapping on a button on the earbuds, so not having the facility to accept the call by touching my FR235 presents no obstacle. Being able to see the name of the caller on my watch is just a geeky bonus.
However, I am 100 % sure they will fix this one day, so you are fighting (ok, I know you are not, so lets say kind of fighting) a lost battle :-)I'm not fighting, I'm seeking clarity on whether my fellow forum members' claims are valid and accurate, and whether their expectations are reasonable outside of their own values and preconceptions (i.e. supported by published material that is not dictated by their personal say-so). I certainly don't have an agenda to stop Garmin from providing the facility to Android phone users, especially when I would neither buy nor accept an iPhone for everyday use if I have a say in the matter.
After all to really "answer" it when running, I would need to pull my phone out of my back pocket and start chatting! If you wear a (wired or Bluetooth) headset connected to your iPhone while you're running, then I daresay you won't need to handle the handset at all to answer the call and chat. :) I always wear one, primarily to stream music (from the Pandora ‘Internet radio’ service) while I run, but it's actually also quite useful when the occasional call comes in.
