No - only black text on white for the data screens
Thanks Tim.
So the 630 manual says the 630 can invert the screen. Although the 735 is physically in a 235 shell I thought the software was closer to the 630. A little disappointing that you can't do this as I much prefer the darker background when running at night.
**EDIT** Correction: I see that 630 setting is just for the clock face, not activity screens. :(
I use Single Run Field (https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/a520cc32-75b2-4b19-a97d-1079b931dc3d) for running in the dark - it can invert the screen. Generally I find latest garmin watches quite unfriendly to night runners. My 910xt was the last watch, that allowed change of backlight level. And no global Inverting option AFAIK.
Yeah i've gone through all of them in the CIQ store. The problem is that monkeyC can't pass through lap information (yet), meaning none of these unified fields can show lap pace, which is what i use.
I ended up writing my own set of data fields for my 235 (called DualField), which you can see here:
This one shows HR and cadence in the top and the timer and time/battery in the bottom. Although i now have all sorts of options (e.g. race predictor). It's a bit hard to stop once you see the possibilities!
