Running dynamics from red HRM strap without HRM used

For reasons I think associated with the loose t-shirts I prefer to wear, the HRM-RUN that I have had for a while often drops out / sends nonsense data to my watch.  As far as I can tell it is related to static electricity and I've tried for years to find a solution without success.  So a few years ago I switched to the Polar OH1+ for optical readings and that worked great with my vivoactive.

I've now got a 645Music and despite what I might have feared the optical built in HRM works really well; when compared to the Polar it is more or less beat for beat accurate (I've used the Aux HR data field to run them both side by side)

But I remembered a few days ago that the HRM-RUN has additional running dynamics on it, so dusted it off and that worked.  But as usual the HR data was a bit on the dodgy side.

So what I'd like to do is use the built in HRM on the 645 *and* get the HRM-Run running dynamics recorded.

With what I have available (i.e. the HRM-RUN and the 645M) is this possible at all with some odd datafield or option that I'm missing?

It wouldn't surprise me if it was impossible, but if I don't ask I'll never know!

Thanks!
