Understanding the navigation data screen

Hi. I'm sure this particular data screen will be familiar. It comes up when using Navigation (eg back to start) or following a course.

My problem is that I cannot find any details on what the screen data means. I've run with the screen a bunch of times trying to work it out. Green seems clearly what's been run and blue what's to come, with elevation profile shown, I guess. But what are the five numbers about?

Thanks for any advice - I'm sure it will be obvious!

  • The five numbers are ascent climbed, ascent remaining, highest elevation, lowest elevation, and distance traveled.

Since the blue part is flat, either your course does not contain elevation data, or you've deviated so much from the route that the watch has disregarded it.

  • Thanks a lot for your reply. I guess I was on the right track. Perhaps what threw me is the Zero. This data screen appeared during an out and back run where I'd chosen Back to Start at the half way mark and I did get On Course recognition (even though I started Trackback a few metres after turning back).

I would have thought it would have elevation data from the outward part of the trip? I feel like that Zero has always been a low number but not always zero.

Thanks though, Roedema; this was helpful.
