645M watch running outdoor - distance measurements increased

I run the same 5K route 3 times a week for a long time and the watch distance measurement was very consistent...

I upgraded to version 7 from an old version (before 6) and the same route is now measured as longer 5.17K consistently.

Is it possible that version 6 or 7 changed the distance measurements logic and added ~3.4% ?

Try to Measure the Route With something Like Strava App to do a comparison.

There have been some anomalies with GPS Devices in General since Jan 1 2011.

Also Check that you are actually using the GPS.
