I recently have the same problem. Setting the data field to average does not solve the problem. Amy other suggestions?
Setting the data field to average does not solve the problem
If you have it set for Average Pace, then what are you seeing in that data field? I have this in my watch.
Activity Settings > Data Screens > Screen 1 > Field 1 > Pace Fields > Average Pace
It displays the average pace for the current activity.
The problem is not on the watch (i think). After my run when the watch synchronyzes whith the Connect app it says that the average pace is 0.00 min/km. Never had this before until recent (i guess this year) Also average speed displays -- and moved time displays 0:00
The data fields on the watch are only for setting up how you view the data on the watch, nothing to do with how it is viewed in Garmin Connect. Can you zip the fit file from the activity and attach it to this thread so we can see what is wrong?
Are you seeing a map of the activity on Garmin Connect? Could be the CPE file on the watch is out of date or corrupt. See Garmin Support document - What Does EPO or CPE Mean on My Garmin Fitness Device?
Or it could be your watch is nearing capacity. It is suggested to keep the number of files in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder on the device’s file system to a minimum using these directions: Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
Well i rather analyze the data first myself for learning purposes, how can i read the FIT files, they seem to be compressed.
My watch has EPO Current, thats okay though? Map is good btw.
Space shouldn't be a problem i guess, see attached image.
Thanks for the help so far.

There are several free online tools for this and a few that require a license, such as Fit File Repair Tool. It is the best for in-depth analysis and repairing of FIT files. It's what I use when people post their fit files here for repairing purposes, such as your 0 min/km problem.
Here's a short list of FIT file viewer and repairing utilities:

Maybe, but there is a limit to the amount of activity files that can be stored, regardless of their size. Also if there are corrupt files in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder that could cause an issue.
I have that too. The first minutes I can see it in the app. Afterwards it disappeard.
