Why does my music keep playing over my phone and not my headphones?

Hello. I just got a garmin 645 music. Headphones are connected. And previously it let me listen to music on headphones. But now when I press play it keeps playing over my phone speaker not my headset. Like I said. I have checked and the headset is connected

I think you are controling music in your phone. Go to music in watch (hold left down button to get there) > then hold middle button and here you can choose provider as Spotify, music in your watch, Deezer and so on. Of course that you have to download some music.
