I have a 645M my wife a 245m. We often run / walk the same routes, but my 645M always records a longer distance, especially if there is a significant amount of elevation gain and loss, can anyone explain that please?

I recorded 17.63 km, with 988 m of elevation gain, my wife only 15.97km with 938 m , the other big discrepancy is moving time, mine(on the 645) was 6:11:43, my wife’s was only 5:11:16, we have exactly the same settings on the walk activity.
Maybe auto-pause is on for one device and off for other one. That would explain the time difference and the distance as well, because it will not switch back suddenly. Can you check?
Would you share your GPS routes. It's known issue that 645 GPS performance is bad.
