6.70 - now my altimeter works!

I received a replacement 645 as a warranty exchange about 2 months ago, only to find that the altimeter was non functional. Restarts, etc. were no help. After the 6.70 update today, I had the pleasant surprise of having back elevation data, which I stumbled onto aft my Strava download.

Hello friend, I have problems with altimetry accumulated below the real in my forrunner 645 music, I believe it is a problem similar to yours. I already tried the support and suggested restarting, calibrating altimeter sensor but nothing resolved.

Was your issue resolved after this upgrade to version 6.70?

I ran marathon, route was 4 * ~ 10.55 km lap. I have to admit, that very nice curve. Matches almost what the real altitude is and start and end altitude shows same level. But let's see more in coming weeks when having more runs to compare. The 6.70 change log doesn't mention that this altimeter issue has fixed or changed.
Nice watch, but the GPS performance is bad.

No need test weeks. Seems it was coincidence, the altimeter does not work. This is expected as there no software changes.

I have a 645M and a 945 and I can tell that the altimeter works far better in the 645, at least in what concerns to climbing floors. Many, many times I climb 4 floors and while the 645 shows 4, the 945 shows 2.

I did a 85km bike ride after updating to version 6.70 and he recorded 1000 meters of accumulated altimetry, the real one being around 1500.
That is, on my 645 it apparently doesn't resolve to upgrade to version 6.70, we'll see in the next activities ...
